Overview
NetID provides access to campus Wi-Fi, log into campus desktops, and Microsoft Office applications.
Steps
Please note: The following steps can be used to set up your account for the first time or to do a password reset as well.
1. If you do not know your NetID account, please visit www.wwcc.edu/netid and select Account Recovery.
2. Please enter your preferred email address used in ctcLink. This is typically your personal email used when you registered to Walla Walla Community College.
3. An email will be coming from Okta with your NetID Username, please look for NetID Username this in that email.
4. Once you have your NetID username, please visit sso.wwcc.edu and enter your NetID username.
5. Once you have entered your NetID, please look for the "Forgot Password" option
6. A verification screen will display a message about sending your reset code to your WWCC school email. This is true, but it also sends it to your person email. Your preferred email set in ctcLink.
Please select "Send me an email" and visit your preferred email set on ctcLink. Look for an email from Okta.
7. After you have received your security code and entered it, you'll be prompted to create your NetID password. Please take note of the password requirements.
8. Finally, after you have created your password, you'll be prompted to choose at least one method of multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your account. Once you have chosen one method, you'll be return to the choices for MFA, if you choose not to enroll in more, you can proceed.
Troubleshooting
Not getting email with account after selecting Account Recovery
- Please ensure the email entered for account recovery is the preferred email matching that in ctcLink
Not getting email after selecting "Forgot Password"
- Please check your NetID username is entered correctly
