Overview
Printing credits do not equate to a dollar amount. Every student will receive 35 credits at the beginning of the quarter. Unused credits will roll over to the following quarter until the end of the academic year and credits will reset back to 35 at the beginning of the next academic year. The maximum number of credits a student can accrue is 105 credits.
Students are not charged any fees for printing credits as part of their tuition. Students cannot refund printer credits in exchange for a dollar amount. The charge base rate per page in graysale is 0.05 credits. In short, per quarter, a student with 35 credits may be able to print up to 700 pages.
Please note, students can see the cost of their print job at the printer before releasing their print job as well.
How do students get more printer credits when they run out?
When a student runs out of credits they can walk over to the Help Desk and ask to obtain more printer credits at no charge. We consider previous print activity and overall system sustainability, providing additional credits when appropriate while reserving the right to decline requests when prior usage has been unusually high.
